Originated in Charles Porters orchard in East Lambrook, and introduced in 1907. Porters Perfection is a late season, full-bodied vintage quality bittersharp fruit that produces a sharp juice with little astringency. It is highly regarded for the quality of its juice by cider-makers. It is a healthy, vigorous grower with a large, spreading habit, producing heavy crops of apples to be harvested in the second half of November.
