Description

Originated in Charles Porter’s orchard in East Lambrook, and introduced in 1907. Porter’s Perfection is a late season, full-bodied vintage quality bittersharp fruit that produces a sharp juice with little astringency. It is highly regarded for the quality of its juice by cider-makers. It is a healthy, vigorous grower with a large, spreading habit, producing heavy crops of apples to be harvested in the second half of November. Apples are often small and fused, making for some interesting looking fruit!
