Description
Soft and enchanting - a mix inspired by the Irish gardener William A. Robinson, who in the early 1900's was one of the first espouse the idea of the 'Cottage Garden'. In an attempt to break free from the confines of the strict Victorian bedding schemes, Robinson planted using a mixture of bulbs, shrubs and herbaceous perennials in a much more informal style. This bulb mix aims to recreate that casual yet refined look, combining white and yellow narcissi with taller tulips. The colour palette is base on soft yellows and white, with the occasional flash of dark purple.Flower height: 25-70cm
Flowering period: Late Season (April - June)
Planting density: For a show-stopping display, plant at 110 bulbs per metre squared. Otherwise plant in clumps of 12-15 bulbs between existing shrubs and herbaceous.
