Description
A most delicious cherry, and one of the best Bigarreau type which has pale yellow fruits with some red flushing. Delicious straight from the tree in late July, and early August. Self-sterile, so needs a pollinating partner. The tree itself is vigorous and hardy, and a prolific cropper - that is well suited to growing against a wall or freestanding. The origin of this variety is not known, but the same cherry (with an earlier name of Grosse Lauermanns Kircher) was known as far back as 1791.For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
