Description
A very old European variety; wonderful sour flavour with a pleasing acidic aftertaste; trees are vigorous, hardy and very productive; very attractive in blossom; does not need full sun, so is one of the few fruits which can be successfully grown on a north-facing wall; named after the gardens of Château de Moreilles where it was first described.
