Description

Alpine Wood Fern. A super fern, native to large parts of Asia and N America, but very happy in UK gardens in humus-rich soil in partial shade. Produces a fountain of bright golden green shuttlecock-like fronds in Spring, which reach upwards and make a lovely vertical contrast when planted amoungst ground cover plants such as Pachysandra.
