Raised by the famous Veitch’s nursery of Langley, in Slough, this variety produces a bush of neat upright habit - that can make it difficult to pick the fruit, but the task is well worth it as the fruit (which is only slightly hairy) has a superb flavour, like nectar. ‘One of the very best’ (Bunyard).
