Description

Native to North America, Panicum (or Switch Grass) 'Shenandoah' is another valuable addition to grass borders and 'Prairie' planting schemes. It is one of the best for its red-toned foliage that turns wine-red in autumn, and also for its 'fountain-like' habit of its arching flower stems and attractively weeping panicles of tiny pink and green flowers.
