Description

Originated at Oldfield, near Ledbury in Gloucestershire. A smallish tree somewhat prone to scab and canker, but which makes a high quality perry, that is deemed ‘rich and sweet with considerable strength’. Makes a good single-varietal perry, and the fruit is near edible, with a fresh sharp astringency.
