Description

First catalogued in Belgium in 1853-54. Introduced to the UK shortly afterwards by the Rivers nursery of Sawbridgeworth. The fruit is large, blue-black with a bloom, round-oblong, flesh does cling to the stone, and is good for jam and cooking, although only fair for eating purposes.
