Hardy, tough and hugely popular, these are a wonderful specimen, hedging or border shrub. We only sell smallish plants as they resent being moved so it's best to get one in and then wait and watch as it matures. Unless otherwise stated they will need a pollinating partner of the opposite sex to get berries on the female plants. If you don't have room in your garden for two plants, either check out the neighbours and see what they have got or go for one of the self-fertile types.
