Description

A striking species with curious elongated petals. The petals are a mixture of yellow and red, normally with more yellow towards the base and more red towards the tips. There may also be a tinge of green as well. The leaves are grey-green in colour and may have slight wavy margins. Height 50cm (20"). Early to mid season flowering. First recorded in 1813 but probably much older.
