Description

A traditional sharp Devon cider variety from Hill’s nursery in Staverton in the 1930s. Dark red fruit with pink-red stained flesh, and of a good size, producing an acidic juice and highly-scented, fruity cider. Scab-resistant, and can produce phenomenal crops, although may become biennial, so important to thin the crop each June.
