A mix that provides two distinct phases - in February purple species crocus brighten the spirits, followed in March and April by vivid red botanical tulips, mixed with blue muscari. Not only stunningly beautiful, but a valuable early source of nectar for bees.Flower height: 10-25cm
Mowing: If planting in grass, you can mow or strim the grass from early June onwards.
Planting density: For a show-stopping display in the first year, plant at 350 bulbs per metre squared. Otherwise plant at 100-125 bulbs per metre squared for a display that will improve year after year as the bulbs spread and naturalise.
