Description

Native to North America, Panicum (or Switch Grass) 'Northwind' is another valuable addition to grass borders and 'Prairie' planting schemes; less so because of its fine blue-green foliage that turns yellow and orange in autumn, but more due to the 'fountain-like' habit of its arching flower stems and attractively weeping panicles of tiny pink and green flowers.
