Description

One of the oldest Perry pears known, this is a vigorous variety yielding a Perry that was regarded as ‘quick, strong, and heady’, although has much fallen from favour now. The fruit are very sharp, astringent, with high levels of tannins - and the juice is now more typically used for blending with other varieties.
