Isfahan (named after the city famous for its ancient Perso–Islamic architecture), is a high quality, sweet tasting quince, that cooks well into jams, Jelly and makes fine quince vodka. Unlike most quinces, it is naturally sweet and can be eaten fresh from the tree.
