Grape - Seigerrebe

Description

An excellently performing grape for the UK, this variety produces good crops of plum coloured grapes that are very early to ripen, so ideal for growing where the summers are shorter. It has superb flavour as a table grape although the ‘berries’ are a little on the small side for that, but makes a fine pressed juice or wine, and in all instances the aromatic, almost spicy grapefruit taste will be carried through and layered with intense sweetness.
