Description

Popular deciduous shrub well known for the masses of strongly scented, purple-red flowers borne all along the upright stems during early spring. These are followed by pale green, lance-shaped leaves and round, fleshy, red fruits in the autumn. Be warned the fruits are highly toxic. Height 1.2m (4ft).
